Author Claire O'Sullivan

A native to rural Southern Oregon, Claire O’Sullivan has worked both as a nurse, nurse practitioner, and forensics training from the National Forensic Science Technology Center which she’s applied to her debut novel, romantic suspense, “Romance Under Wraps,” and to her medical thriller, “Rules of Engagement.”

“Silk & Slippers” is a forensics and police procedural, in the series of “Romance Under Wraps.” Her 4th novel is "Shanghai Road," the third of the Whiskey River Mystery series.

Her novels are more grit and usually address a social issue. Although romance (subplot?) & comedy (to counter the drama) are always in the air.

The novelist and her husband are chicken farmers. Her hubby is a helicopter parent of said chickens, who is obsessed with keeping them safe, well fed, and in chicken ICU if needed. In great need, her best attempt to grab his attention is to yell "BOCK bock bock bock BOCK!!"
